Fluffy Caramelized French Toast

Fluffy Caramelized French Toast

This delicious and easy french toast is caramelized and crunchy on the outside, but soaked with egg and milk for a fluffy inside.

Sliced bread
as needed
100 ml
2 tablespoons
a little
Sugar (granulated is best if you have it)
1 teaspoon
Maple syrup, heavy cream, fruit, etc
to taste

1. Mix together the ☆ ingredients, then let the bread soak in the mixture. (If you let the bread soak like this overnight until right before frying, the bread will completely soak up the mixture.)
2. Heat butter in a frying pan, then line up your slices of soaked bread. Cook over medium-low heat until golden brown.
3. Flip over to fry the other side until golden brown.
4. When both sides have turned golden brown, sprinkle the sugar (granulated, if you have it), flip the bread over, and let cook until the sugar has caramelized.
5. It's cute if you shape your bread like this!
6. Top with maple syrup, chocolate sauce, heavy cream, fruit, etc.
