Cooked in a Microwave! Layered Ground Meat and Cabbage Dome

You don't have to blanch the cabbage before hand. This is an easy recipe cooked in the microwave!

Ingredients: 18 cm heat-proof bowl

Cabbage
200 g
☆ Ground beef or pork
200g
☆ Onion
1/2
☆ Egg
1
☆ Panko
2 tablespoons
☆Milk
1 tablespoon
☆ Salt, black pepper, nutmeg
a pinch
For the sauce:
○Tomato ketchup
2 tablespoons
○Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
○Water
50ml
Katakuriko slurry
1 teaspoon potato starch, 2 teaspoons water

Steps

1. Knead the ingredients marked with ☆ into the meat until it all sticks together, and blend in a food processor.
2. Tear the raw cabbage, and put into a microwave-safe bowl.
3. Coat the leaves with the meat mixture from step 1 on top. Cover with additional torn cabbage leaves, making layers with the cabbage.
4. Cover with plastic wrap, microwave for about 10 minutes, and flip on a plate.
5. Make the sauce, and pour on top. In a small pot, bring the ○ ingredients to a boil, and thicken with dissolved katakuriko.
