Chicken Stewed in Tomato Sauce

This only takes 15 minutes in a frying pan! This dish is made with only three key ingredients coated in delicious seasonings.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken thigh
1 fillet
Bell pepper
Canned tomato
1 can
1 clove
☆ Ketchup
2 tablespoons
☆ Grated cheese
2 tablespoons
☆ Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
1 tablespoon
☆ Soy sauce
1 teaspoon


1. Chop the onion into wedges and break them apart.
2. Chop the bell pepper into bite-sized pieces.
3. Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces, and season with salt and pepper.
4. In a frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil with minced garlic on low heat until fragrant.
5. Add the chicken, and sauté on medium to high heat until golden brown.
6. When the chicken is cooked through halfway, add the onions and bell peppers and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes.
7. When the vegetables are tender, add the canned tomato and the ☆ ingredients and simmer until the sauce is reduced to half the original amount.

I had lots of canned tomatoes, so I used ingredients on hand to make this dish.
