If you add doubanjiang to standard "Pan Fried Pork with Sweet Miso" the flavor becomes well defined and delicious.
Frying thinly sliced pork with ginger is the norm (but my family's ginger pork is not sweet), but in order to change things up, I added doubanjiang to fried sweet pork and miso.
- By rubbing in the sake and sugar first, the meat will become tender rather than tough. - You can cut the meat into easy-to-eat pieces, or leave it as-is.
