Yuzu Pepper Flavored Japanese Leek and Chicken Tenders

I combined leeks cooked until they turn very sweet with healthy chicken tenders and an easy ponzu sauce.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Japanese leek
Chicken tenders
1 teaspoon
2 tablespoons
☆Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
☆Sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon
☆Yuzu pepper paste
1/2 teaspoon


1. Take the sinews off the chicken tenders, and slice diagonally into bite sized pieces.
2. Put the chicken with the sake into a heatproof container, cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave for 4 minutes. Leave it as is until it's cooked through in residual heat.
3. Slice the leek diagonally, put into a heatproof container, and microwave for 3 minutes. Combine with the cooked chicken in a serving bowl.
4. Combine the ☆ seasonings to make the sauce. Drizzle the sauce over the chicken and leek and it's done.
