Easy! Healthy! Sukiyaki-style Ground Meat and Tofu

If you have tofu, ground meat and egg you can make this easily. You can eat up your rice with this dish alone!!

Ingredients: 2 to 3 servings

Firm tofu
1 block
Ground meat (beef and pork mix)
100 g
The white part of a Japanese leek
1 stalk worth
Soy sauce, sake, sugar, mirin
2 tablespoons each
1 to 2 (to taste)


1. Slice the leek diagonally. Cut the tofu into 2 to 3 cm easy to eat cubes.
2. Add all the seasonings and the ground meat to a frying pan and turn on the heat.
3. When the ground meat is cooked and crumbly, add the leek and tofu, and simmer for about 5 minutes. (Stir occasionally.)
4. Turn up the heat, add the beaten egg(s) and cook for 15 seconds. Turn off the heat, transfer to a serving plate and it's done. (Scatter with some chopped green onion or Japanese leek to taste.)
