Easy Mock-Okonomiyaki (Savory Japanese Pancake) with Bean Sprouts and Eggs

All you have to do for this easy recipe is layer the ingredients in order.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Bean sprouts
1 bag
Eggs
3
Okonomiyaki sauce
To taste
Mayonnaise
To taste
Bonito flakes
To taste
Aonori
To taste

Steps

1. Rinse bean sprouts and put in a serving dish. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 3 minutes at 600 W. Drain water!
2. Beat eggs in a bowl. Make soft and fluffy scrambled eggs in a heated pan. Slide onto the bean sprouts (Step 1).
3. Top with sauce, mayonnaise, bonito flakes and aonori seaweed to finish.

Story Behind this Recipe

Both adults and children love the combination of okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise. Using those two kinds of sauces, I put together this simple recipe to use up bean sprouts!
