For Dinner♪ Mild Ground Pork Tomato Pasta

A pasta with a mild tartness and a bit of sweetness that kids love. For adults, this goes with red wine for an elegant dinner.

Ingredients: serves 5

500 g
Ground pork
200 g
Garlic (finely chopped)
3 cloves
Olive oil (Extra virgin)
3 tablespoons
☆Canned crushed tomatoes
2 cans
☆Red wine
1/2 cup
☆Raw cane sugar
2 tablespoons
1 large tablespoon
☆Soup stock cube
☆Coarse salt
2 teaspoons
Salt and pepper
to taste
Coarsely ground pepper
to taste
◇Eggplant, cheese, zucchini, etc
as desired


1. Add olive oil and garlic to a pan and heat until fragrant. Add the ground meat and flavor with salt and pepper, cooking until crumbly.
2. Add the ingredients marked with ☆ and cook thoroughly on low heat for about 60 minutes, stirring frequently. Add boiled pasta and lightly mix together with the sauce.
3. Put on a plate and sprinkle with the coarsely ground pepper to finish.
4. If you're concerned about the fat from the pork, render the fat and use a paper towel to soak up the oil.
5. Eggplant: cut into about 1 cm slices and deep fry. Mix with the sauce just before serving.
6. Cheese: cut into pieces and mix in with the sauce just before serving.

Story Behind this Recipe

At my house when we're having pasta, this is the only sauce we make. Everyone tells me I could feature this in a restaurant. It makes me so happy that I make it over and over again. I uploaded this recipe so that I don't forget it.
