Toad in a Hole (leak-proof)

This sunny-side up egg is made by cutting a hole in one slice of bread and stacking it on top of another slice to prevent the egg from leaking.

Ingredients

Sliced bread
2 slices
Egg
1
Butter
to taste

Steps

1. Cut a 5- to 7-cm hole in the middle of one slice of bread, and spread butter on both slices.
2. Stack the sliced bread with the hole on top, crack an egg into the hole, then bake in toaster oven for 2 to 3 minutes.
3. If you prefer the egg cooked through, first cover the bread in aluminum foil, bake for 1 to 2 minutes, remove the foil, then bake for 2 to 3 more minutes.
4. I like to break the egg over the bread as I eat.
