Wakame Seaweed and Garlic Soup with Cabbage

This soup will warm your body. Perfect for when you start feeling under the weather.

Ingredients: 2 to 3 servings

2 cloves
1/8 head
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
☆ Dried wakame seaweed
1 to 2 tablespoons (If fresh, use a pinch)
☆ Water
500 ml
☆ Chicken soup stock (granules)
1 tablespoon
☆ Sake
1 tablespoon
☆ Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
☆ Salt and pepper
to taste
Sesame seeds
to taste


1. Thinly slice the garlic into rounds and cut the cabbage into bite-sized bits.
2. Lightly sauté the garlic in sesame oil in a wok or frying pan to release the aroma.
3. Add cabbage and briskly sauté.
4. Add ingredients marked ☆, then bring to a boil.
5. Transfer to serving dishes, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve.

I added cabbage to my usual wakame seaweed and garlic soup.
