Fried Wonton Dumplings with Chrysanthemum Leaves Seasoned with Yuzu Pepper Paste

White dashi and yuzu pepper paste give these dumplings plenty of flavor. It's so easy! Just mix the ingredients, wrap 'em up, and fry! The combination of chrysanthemum leaves and yuzu pepper paste makes these a sophisticated fried wonton dish.

Ingredients: Makes 30 dumplings

Minced meat of your choice
150 g
Chrysanthemum leaves
about 4 stalks
Japanese leek
about 10 cm
Wonton wrappers
1 package (30 wrappers)
☆ Sake
1 teaspoon
☆ Shiro-dashi
2 tablespoons
☆ Yuzu pepper paste
2 scant teaspoons

Steps

1. Finely chop up the chrysanthemum leaves and Japanese leek. Mix well with the minced meat and the ☆ ingredients.
2. Wrap them as you like in wonton wrappers.
3. When they turn golden brown, they're ready to eat.
