Non-Fry Meatless Tonkatsu using Frozen Tofu

You can eat a lot of this even when on a diet, and it's cheap!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Firm tofu
1 block
Egg
a little
Plain flour
as needed
Panko
as needed
Salt and pepper
to taste

Steps

1. Defrost the frozen tofu and drain very well.
2. Season the tofu with salt and pepper.
3. Coat the tofu with plain flour, the beaten egg, and panko, in that order.
4. Heat a pan filled 5mm deep with oil. Stir-fry the tofu until golden brown and it's done.
