Tofu-Miso Sauce

This is an easy sauce made by mixing tofu and miso. It's kind of like mayonnaise, but it has a light flavour. Great as a dip with vegetables or crackers, or as a dressing.

Ingredients: An easy to make amount

Firm tofu
1/2 block
Miso
2 tablespoons
Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth. It's not necessary to drain the tofu.
2. Spread it on crackers, or serve as a dip with warm veggies or vegetable sticks.
3. If you mix in some boiled and mashed potato, it becomes a tofu, mayonnaise and potato salad!
4. Add 50ml water and 2 teaspoons of vinegar to weaken the taste, and you have salad dressing.
5. This time, I enjoyed this sauce with Vegetarian "Meat" Miso (Recipe ID: 1622584) and rice wrapped in a lettuce leaf.
