Bean Sprout Namul (Korean-Style Salad)

This bean sprout namul uses a generous amount of sesame seeds. A simple recipe that requires only boiling and blending.


Bean sprouts
1 packet
For the seasoning:
Ground sesame seeds
3 tablespoons
Finely grated garlic
1/2 teaspoon or more
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
1/3 to 1/2 teaspoon


1. Boil the bean sprouts in water with some salt (not included in ingredients), strain and drain excess water.
2. Combine seasonings in a bowl and mix.
3. Add bean sprouts to the bowl from Step 2, mix well, and serve. Garnish with scallions to taste.

Since bean sprouts are available cheaply all year round and also nutritious, I want to find various ways to use them.
