Packed with Sesame Flavor! Easy and Delicious Salt-Chicken Chanko (Sumo Wrestler's Hot Pot)

Just match the amount of your ingredients to how much soup stock you're using, boil and it's ready. It's an easy hot pot that both kids and adults will love.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Chicken meat
500 g
Napa cabbage
1/2
Japanese leek

Bunapi-shimeji mushrooms
1 packet
Bean sprouts
1 packet
Shirataki (konnyaku noodles)
200 g
Tofu
1 block
◎ Water
1.5 liters
◎ Chicken soup stock granules
4 tablespoons
◎ Salt
2 teaspoons
◎ Ground sesame seeds
4 tablespoons
◎ Grated garlic
1 tablespoon
◎ Grated ginger
1 1/2 tablespoons
◎ Sesame oil
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Cut the ingredients into a size of your liking.
2. Put all the ◎ ingredients (except for the ground sesame seeds) into an earthenware pot. Boil them along with the chicken and shirataki konnyaku noodles.
3. Once it starts to boil put all the remaining vegetables into the pot.
4. Once everything has been fully cooked put the tofu and ground sesame into the pot. Now it's ready to eat.
5. Add in Chinese style noodles, your kids will love it.
6. Note: For adults use a lot of soup and add extra ground sesame and cut scallions. Adding shichimi spice or hot sesame oil gives it the most amazing flavor.
