Fried Chicken Breast in Ginger Pork Style

I made a tasty ginger pork style dish using chicken breasts.

Ingredients: 2 to 3 servings

Chicken breasts

Katakuriko
To coat the chicken
Salt and pepper
To taste
Ginger
1 piece
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Mirin
2 tablespoons
Sake
1 tablespoon
Sugar
1 and 1/2 tablespoons
Water
100cc

Steps

1. Flatten the chicken breast to a thin slice. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken. Coat all sides of the chicken thinly with katakuriko. Fry the chicken with the skin side down.
2. Combine the ginger, soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar and water.
3. Fry both sides of the chicken and add the mixed seasonings. Cook over a low heat. When both sides of the chicken absorbs the flavor it is done.
