Combine all ingredients for the blended miso and mix well.
Heat some sesame oil in a frying pan, and grill the tofu from Step 1 over medium heat.
When brown, add the blended miso from Step 2.
Stir-fry while mixing well with the miso, and it's done.
Since the tofu blocks were on the small side in the picture above, there's a relatively large amount of miso in the picture above.
Story Behind this Recipe
We usually served the thick fried tofu pan-fried. It's simple, but we all love it. One time, I tried this different way of seasoning it, and my family ended up loving it, so I wrote it up into a recipe.
