Pineapple Bread Made in a Bread Machine

Pineapple Bread Made in a Bread Machine

This is a combination of a rich brioche dough that uses canned pineapples and no water. My children just gobble it up.

Ingredients: 1 loaf

Bread (strong) flour
250 g
100 g
Raw cane sugar
20 to 30 g
Skim milk powder
75 g
40 g
1 teaspoon
Dry yeast
1 heaping teaspoon (2.8 g)
Sliced pineapple rings (canned)
5 slices

1. Put all the ingredients into a bread machine. I used small eggs so you can see 2 yolks. It's best to beat the eggs first and measure out 75 g.
2. Start the baking course! Let the bread machine do the heavy lifting. Make sure the pineapples are ready before it's time to mix in additional ingredients.
3. I use this canned pineapple. It has 10 sliced rings. We'll use half of these in this recipe.
4. Drain off the syrup well.
5. Cut the pineapple up into easy to eat pieces. Add 2/3 of that when the 'mix in' beep sounds. Poke the rest of the pineapple into the dough when it's starting its final rise.
6. Done.
7. Here's how it looks cut. The pineapple pieces have become pretty small (and kneaded into the dough).

Story Behind this Recipe

I thought brioche and pineapple should go together, so I made this.
