Mustard and Mayonnaise Pan-fried and Grilled Pork Filet

Mustard and Mayonnaise Pan-fried and Grilled Pork Filet

Pork filet is cheap! But making fried cutlets is a bother... so I pan fried it with mustard and mayonnaise, and the result was soft, juicy, and good!

Ingredients: 4 servings

1 pork filet block
500-600 g
4 tablespoons
Grainy mustard
3 tablespoons
Salt and pepper
To taste
Olive oil (or vegetable oil)
about 1 tablespoon

1. Slice the filet into 1 cm slices and season with salt and pepper.
2. Mix the mayonnaise and grainy mustard together.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan, and fry the pork slices until slightly browned.
4. Brown the other side. Don't cook the meat all the way through.
5. Line up the partially cooked pork slices on a grill (fish grill, oven grill, etc.), brush with the mustard-mayonnaise sauce and grill over medium-low heat until browned. (I browned them a bit too much here...)
6. Done! Serve with vegetables of your choice.

Story Behind this Recipe

I bought cheap pork filet, but didn't want to bother turning it into fried cutlets... but if you overcook it, it turns dry and tough. So I cooked it with a mayonnaise marinade!
