Delicious Plump Shrimp with Mayonnaise Sauce

This easy recipe will make a delicious, plump shrimp dish with mayonnaise sauce. My mom's original recipe. We fight over it!

Ingredients: 4 - 5 servings

Shrimp
20
Katakuriko
2 tablespoons
Sake
1 tablespoon
Egg white
From 1 egg
Salt, pepper
to taste
For sauce:
Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons
Condensed milk
2 teaspoons

Steps

1. Peel the shrimp and mix in a small amount of salt (not listed), then wash well under running water.
2. Add shrimp and coat with the whisked egg white. Add 1 tablespoon of katakuriko and mix lightly Do not over mix! It's okay if you have some powder not completely mixed in.
3. Rub well and then wash under running water.
4. Slice the back of each shrimp with a knife (all the way through to the cutting board). Also devein at this time.
5. As shown, insert the tail into where you sliced (to prevent shrinking when deep-fried)
6. Whisk the egg white.
7. Add shrimp and coat with the whisked egg white. Add 1 tablespoon of katakuriko and mix lightly (Do not overmix! It's okay if you have some powder not completely mixed in).
8. Deep-fry.
9. Mix mayonnaise and condensed milk. Coat the shrimp and serve.
