Edamame Aglio Olio e Pepperoncino

These slightly spicy edamame beans are absolutely delicious. They're amazing with beer and white wine!

Ingredients

Frozen edamame
100 g
Minced garlic
1 teaspoon
Red chili pepper
1
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Black pepper
to taste

Steps

1. Boil your fresh edamame bean in salted water. (If you're using the frozen kind, warm them up in the microwave.)
2. Chop your garlic and slice the chili pepper into thin rounds. Sauté both in olive oil until fragrant and golden. Try not to burn your ingredients here.
3. Add the edamame beans, and shake in some black pepper and give the pan a light toss to mix everything together.

The frozen edamame beans I had in my fridge looked a little frost bitten, so I decided to sauté mine.
