Hanpen Fish Cakes Topped with Sesame Cream Cheese

These are light and fluffy hanpen mixed with sesame and cream cheese for a nice, easy beer snack.

Ingredients: For 1 hanpen

Hanpen

Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
Ground white sesame seeds
1 1/2 tablespoons
Cream cheese
36 g (2 cubes in pre-cut packages)
Salt
a pinch
Black sesame for garnish
a little

Steps

1. In a heat-resistant bowl, microwave the cream cheese for 10 seconds until soft. Mix in the white sesame seeds, sesame oil, and salt.
2. Cut the hanpen into 6 pieces or your preferred size.
3. Top the hanpen with the cream cheese mixture from Step 1. Garnish with black sesame seeds.
