Simple Fluffy Chocolate Mousse

This is a fluffy chocolate mousse made with cocoa powder. It's very simple, yet delicious. You also get to use up leftover egg whites...

Ingredients: 1 cocotte (approx. 180 g)

Egg white
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
Vegetable oil
120 ml
Rum (as desired)
1 teaspoon


1. I used the dessert plate (for whipping) in a food processor this time. Of course, you can also use a hand mixer.
2. Add the egg whites, sugar, and cocoa to the food processor. Mix until smooth (about 1 minute).
3. This is what it look like.
4. Add vegetable oil and rum and mix until it thickens (about 1 minute).
5. This is what it looks like. If it's still a bit creamy, then mix a little bit more.
6. Mix until it's thick enough to stay put on a spoon.
7. The finished product.
