Crunchy Almond Salmon Sauté

Sliced almonds transform inexpensive salmon into a delicious dish.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Raw salmon
2 fillets
Sliced almonds
35g
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Cake flour
1 tablespoon
Beaten egg

Steps

1. Salt the salmon. Place the salmon In a plastic bag, then add the flour. Lightly coat.
2. Dredge the salmon in the beaten egg, then cover with sliced almonds.
3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is heated, add the salmon and fry for 3 minutes.
4. Flip over and heat for another minute. Reduce the heat to low and heat for 3 minutes until cooked though.

I like almonds with white fish, so I thought I would try them with salmon.
