Cute Madeleine

It's fail-proof standard madeleine. You can use madeleine cups, small muffin cups or silicon cups.

Ingredients: Small muffin cups 10-15

100 g
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
Margarine for cake
100 g
80 g


1. Sieve the flour and baking powder together. Bring the eggs to room temperature.
2. Put the eggs and sugar into a bowl to mix in with a whisk. Then add the sieved flours to stir lightly.
3. Cut the butter into suitable sizes and put into a heatproof tray. Microwave for a minute to dissolve the butter.
4. Add the dissolved butter into the bowl that is still floury.
5. Mix well with a whisk until it's no longer floury.
6. Pour in the batter into the cups. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 180°C oven. I used 30 ml of cups in 100 yen shop.
7. It's done. Bake until it becomes your favorite color. It's rather white in the photo. Check with a skewer if it comes out clean, it's done.
8. After cooling, put the madeleine into cellophane for a small gift.
9. I baked the madeline with animal shaped silicon cups. Here are rabbits and bears.
10. These are normal sized madeline cups. Add the chocolate chips in the process 5.
