Cured Ham and Avocado Green Pasta

This pasta dish is rich and delicious like carbonara. It's simple, and you don't need a frying pan.

Ingredients: 1 large serving

a little less than 100 g
Very ripe avocado
Cured ham
a few slices
■Soup stock cube
1/2 – 1 teaspoon
a small amount
Fresh cream (or milk)
1 tablespoon
Grated cheese, black pepper
small amount


1. Add the pasta to salted boiling water.
2. While the pasta is boiling, peel the avocado, put it in a bowl, then mash with a fork. You can either leave some chunks or mash until smooth – it tastes great either way.
3. Add the ■ ingredients to the avocado and mix.
4. As soon as the pasta has cooked, drain well and mix with the sauce immediately. Arrange the pasta and cured ham on plates, sprinkle on the grated cheese and black pepper, and you're done!

Story Behind this Recipe

I came up with this when I had an avocado that was too ripe to use in salad, and also wanted to eat a delicious yet easy-to-make pasta dish. I just made it up as I went along, but it turned out really delicious.
