Rich and Tasty Miso Soup with Potato

Using butter makes this miso soup very rich and tasty and you don't even have to use dashi stock.

Ingredients: 4 servings

2 large
20 g
Red miso
40-50 g
700 ml


1. Peel the potatoes and cut into 5 mm rectangles.
2. Soak the potatoes in water (not listed) for 15 minutes.
3. Drain the potatoes and stir fry well.
4. While you are stir frying the potatoes, boil water in a pan.
5. When the water in the pan has come to a boil, transfer the potatoes to this pan (with butter).
6. When the potatoes are cooked through, dissolve the miso (refer to Helpful Hints).
7. It's done!
