Wasabi-Flavored Nagaimo and Okra Mix

The nagaimo is crunchy and delicious. A simple and healthy side side with a hint of wasabi.

Ingredients: 2 servings

5 cm
◎ Shiro-dashi
1.5 to 2 teaspoons
◎Wasabi paste
about 2 cm
to taste
Shredded nori
as desired


1. Remove the nagaimo skin and slice into thick pieces. Soak in water with a bit of vinegar, then drain.
2. Boil the okra then cut into bite-sized pieces (wash and prep the okra if you wish).
3. Mix the ◎ ingredients together, add the nagaimo and okra. (Flavor with salt and pepper if necessary). Transfer to a serving dish and top with shredded nori seaweed.
