Easy Rice Flour and Kinako Snowball Cookies

These have a delicious taste that lingers in your mouth. They're popular amongst my family and friends.

Ingredients: 20-30 cookies

Rice flour (or cake flour)
100 g
20 g
30-40 g
Vegetable oil or olive oil
4 tablespoons
3 tablespoons
Powdered sugar
as needed

1. Combine the rice flour, kinako, and sugar in a plastic bag, and mix well. Add the vegetable oil, and massage the contents of the bag until evenly incorporated.
2. Gradually add milk a little at a time.
3. Roll the dough into small balls and arrange on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
4. Bake for about 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180℃, then place the baking tray on a cooling rack to cool.
5. Put the powdered sugar on a tray and roll the cookies in the sugar while they're still hot.

Story Behind this Recipe

I came up with this recipe to use up a huge supply of kinako.
