Non-Oil Fluffy Soboro for Babies

This recipe makes a very simple and fluffy soboro (minced meat with soy sauce). Serve to babies or to adults. Make a batch and store in the freezer.


Chicken breast
150 g
Silken tofu
150 g
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
1/2 tablespoon
1 scant tablespoon


1. Put all of the ingredients into a frying pan. You don't need to drain the tofu.
2. As you break it all apart with long chopsticks, cook it on medium heat until most of the liquid evaporates. Then it's done.
3. You could also add minced carrot, green pepper, or mushrooms! You should warm up the harder to cook ingredients in the microwave before placing them in the frying pan.
4. Use as a filling for an egg omelet.

Story Behind this Recipe

Soboro with just meat can get dried out and tough, so I added some tofu.
