Corn, Bacon and Tomato Bento Space Filler (Freeze to Store!)

Just microwave when needed! I use bacon and corn, which everyone loves, to make this easy bento item in bulk.

Ingredients: A lot

Corn kernels
about 150 g
3 to 4 slices
Cherry tomatoes
6 to 7
Parsley (dried)
a small amount
a small amount
Parmesan cheese
a small amount
Butter or margarine
For stir-frying
Salt and pepper
to taste

1. Cut the bacon into 5 mm wide pieces.
2. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
3. Drain the canned corn kernels.
4. Put the butter in a frying pan and stir fry the corn, bacon and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Transfer to a plate to cool.
6. Put into small bento cups, and add a dab of mayonnaise on top of each one.
7. Put a tomato half on top of the mayonnaise, and sprinkle on some cheese.
8. Make a freezer tray with an empty milk carton and put it in a freezer bag.
9. Put the assembled cups on the milk carton, close up the bag and freeze. Done.
10. When you need one, just take it out and microwave it.

Story Behind this Recipe

If you make it in bulk, you can just microwave it and you'll have a dish ready even when you're really busy in the morning.
