Simple, Quick and Neat Removal of Grape Seeds & Skins

Simple, Quick and Neat Removal of Grape Seeds & Skins

This is the best for when you want to decorate a cake or tart and want to keep the shape of grapes intact.

Ingredients

Kyoho grapes (large table grapes)
as needed
A straw
about 6 mm diameter, cut to 15 cm long

Steps

1. Push the straw into the end where the grape was removed from the bunch.
2. Pierce it straight through to the other side by slightly twisting the straw.
3. Leaving the straw inserted, peel the skin from the bottom of the grape to the stem side.
4. The seed is stuck inside the straw, so you'll be able to remove it easily.

Story Behind this Recipe

I don't want to take the time to peel and de-seed grapes.
