Easy Semi-Dried Tomatoes

Whenever cherry tomatoes are on sale, I buy them to make this. You can use it for pasta or bagels or whatever you want!

Ingredients: a medium jam jar's worth

Cherry tomatoes
3 packs
1 clove
Olive oil
300 ml


1. Wash the tomatoes and cut in half. Pat the inside moisture dry with paper towels. Thinly slice the garlic.
2. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and arrange the tomatoes on top.
3. Bake in an oven at 100°C for about 2 hours. Then, let cool.
4. These are the dried tomatoes.
5. Put the tomatoes and garlic in a jar and add enough olive oil to submerge. You can use them after about a day.
6. Here's some used in bagels.

Dried tomatoes are quite expensive at the store, so I challenged myself to create a homemade version.
