Kimchi Pork Rolls

Kimchi Pork Rolls

These teriyaki-style pork rolls with kimchi and potato are mildly flavored and filling.
It's also great for bento boxes.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Thinly sliced pork
8 slices
1 small
30 g
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
Olive oil
as needed

1. Cut the potato into 8 sticks. Boil until slightly under-cooked.
2. Spread out the pork slices and top the whole slice with a thin layer of kimchi. Then place one potato stick from Step 1 on top, and wrap into a roll.
3. If you have time, leave it for 1 hour to rest (you can skip this step).
4. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and evenly fry all sides of the rolls. Steam the rolls with the lid on, over low heat.
5. Finish by adding the mixed soy sauce and sake, to make it teriyaki-style.
6. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with kimchi if you like.

Story Behind this Recipe

When I wrapped kimchi with pork and flavoured it like teriyaki, it was a huge hit.
