Meat Sauce for Lazy Daddies

Meat Sauce for Lazy Daddies

This recipe brings out the chunkiness of the ingredients, and is more delicious than what you'll find at restaurants! This is my hubby's go-to recipe, and our family's favorite meat sauce.

Ingredients: 3 generous servings

Ground meat
3 strips half bacon
Olive oil
a small amount
Salt and pepper
to taste
Soup stock cube
Canned crushed tomatoes

Garlic (tube OK)

Powdered cheese, parsley

1. Boil the spaghetti and set aside. Also set aside 4 tablespoons of the pasta water. Mince the onion, carrot, and bacon.
2. Coat a pan with olive oil and heat the onions over medium-high heat. Add the carrots and garlic and cook until the onions brown.
3. Add the meat and bacon and continue cooking. When the meat has browned, add the tomato, soup stock, bay leaf, and pasta and boil.
4. Once the liquid evaporates, season with salt and pepper. Plate and top with parsley and powdered cheese to complete.
5. Make bell pepper rice and cover it with this meat sauce, and you'll get your kids to eat their peppers! Recipe ID: 1563624

Story Behind this Recipe

This is my husband's favorite recipe. I ask him to make this in large batches every week, so that I can come up with different variations. He makes it every week, and constantly improves on it.
