Meat-Wrapped Cabbage Simmered in Tomato Sauce

Meat-Wrapped Cabbage Simmered in Tomato Sauce

I wrapped boiled cabbage in pork and cooked it in tomato sauce. It tastes just like cabbage rolls. It's a dish that everyone loves, so it disappears in no time!

Ingredients: For 10 rolls

Thinly sliced pork
10 slices
●Canned tomatoes (cut)
1 can (400 g)
Consommé stock granules
2 teaspoons
● Salt and pepper
as needed

1. Cut the cabbage into suitable sizes, separate the leaves and boil. Drain, and once cool, wrap the leaves in the pork to make 10 rolls.
2. Spread oil (around 1 tablespoon) in a frying pan and heat. Once hot, cook the rolls with the seam side down. Cook all sides.
3. Add the ingredients labeled ● into the pan. Turn the rolls over frequently and simmer until the liquid is half the volume.

Story Behind this Recipe

I came up with this recipe thinking that I wanted to make making cabbage rolls easier.
