In a microwave-safe bowl, add the ★ seasonings and mix.
Add the chicken thighs to the seasoning and mix. Try to place the chicken skin side down.
Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap. Microwave (500 W) for 10 minutes with vented plastic wrap to avoid bursting.
Take out the bowl and stir the contents. If uncooked, cover it with a plastic wrap again and microwave a minute while keeping an eye on it.
Be careful!! The bowl gets really hot. Carefully check the meat in the center of the bowl as it doesn't cook through easily.
Once it's cooked, leave for a while to absorb the flavor (about 5 minutes).
Transfer to a serving plate and spoon on some sauce. Garnish with lettuce and radish sprouts (optional) and it's ready.
Story Behind this Recipe
When my daughter was a small child, I couldn't take my eyes off of her so I came up with many recipes to easily prepare in the microwave and rice cooker. This is one of them.
In Step 4, you can prevent the steam bursting by making a little gap in one corner of the plastic wrap. In Step 5, the bowl gets extremely hot so be careful. When you microwave this, it's difficult to cook through the center. So in Step 5, make sure you mix the center contents to outside and microwave it again.
