Easy Tofu au Gratin

This recipe only uses tofu, sesonings, and cheese! It's so easy since there's no need to drain it either! A budget-friendly recipe that's also very filling.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Tofu (firm or silken)
1 block
Miso and mayonnaise
1 tablespoon each
Easy-melting cheese
as much as you like

Steps

1. Mash the tofu up. Add the miso and mayonnaise and mix them well.
2. Top the mixture with lots of cheese, and bake in the oven. It's done when the cheese has browned.

Story Behind this Recipe

Making béchamel sauce is so much trouble. So, I mashed up some tofu and used it as a mock-béchamel sauce for this gratin dish. It actually turned out quite nicely.
