Chilled Tofu with Okra, Shiso and Ponzu Sauce

This is a pretty common but very refreshing dish.
Simple and easy to prepare, chilled tofu with ponzu sauce makes for a light side dish.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Tofu (mini-3 pack, total about 300 g)
1 pack
2 (if they are big, just 1)
Shiso leaf
1 leaf
Mentsuyu and ponzu
1 tablespoon each
Bonito flakes
To taste


1. Boil the okra until it's cooked to your taste. Drain and drop in cold water to blanch.
2. Cut the okra, shiso leaf and tomato into bite-sized pieces.
3. Put the bonito flakes, shiso leaves, okra on the tofu, and the tomato on the side. Pour the mentsuyu and ponzu sauce over all, and that's it.
4. It's also delicious with wasabi or grated fresh ginger or shichimi spice.
