Oil-Free, Dairy-Free Macrobiotic Okara Steamed Bread

Steaming is better than baking for macrobiotic recipes. It is also easy to make and it makes a wonderful snack!

Ingredients: 4 small muffin cups

Cake flour or rice flour
50 g
Fresh okara
50 g
Rum
1 teaspoon
Sugar
2 tablespoons
Salt
a pinch
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
Soy milk
50 ml

Steps

1. Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl.
2. Gradually add soy milk, a small amount at a time.
3. Pour the batter in to the muffin cups. Place them in a steaming steamer.
4. Steam the bread. Check and see if the bread is ready from time to time. It took me about 10 minutes.
