Light and Rich Japanese-style Steak with Grated Daikon Radish

Rich sauce and refreshing grated daikon radish make a great combination. It's a quick and easy dish.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Pork for steak

Daikon radish
5 cm
● Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
● Sake
1 tablespoon
● Mirin
1 tablespoon
Salt and pepper
as needed

Steps

1. Cut slits in the pork and pound using the back of the knife, then season with salt and pepper.
2. Combine the ● ingredients and grate the daikon.
3. Heat a pan and sear the pork on both sides, Cover with a lid and steam.
4. Insert a skewer in the meat and if the liquid runs clear, add the ● ingredients and turn off the heat. If the liquid does not run clear, cook a little longer.
5. Remove the pork from the pan and cut into bite-size pieces. Place the pork on a plate and top with grated daikon.
6. Pour over the hot sauce and enjoy.
