How to Cook Glutenous Millet

This millet turns out nice and chewy.

Ingredients: About 2 rice bowls' worth

Glutenous millet
1 rice cooker cup's worth (180 ml)
180 ml


1. Rinse the millet until it stops clouding the water.
2. Soak in water for 30 minutes.
3. After soaking, drain water and rinse once more. Put the millet and water in a pot, add a pinch of salt, then stir.
4. First bring to a boil over high heat, mix thoroughly, then cover the pot with a lid and cook for 13-15 minutes over low heat.
5. Remove from heat, keeping the lid on, and steam for 5 minutes. After steaming, fluff with a spoon.
