Simple Flour Uirō Steamed Cake

Finished in 10 minutes! This easy uirō steamed cake is made in a microwave. A simple, delicious and chewy dessert that mainly uses flour.

Ingredients: 12 x 12 cm

White flour
40 g
40 g
150 ml
Anko (optional)
75 g


1. Mix together all ingredients (except for the anko).
2. Strain the mixture (Step 1) into a microwave-safe container. Microwave for 5 minutes at 500 to 600W.
3. When slightly cooled down, slice into desired shapes (dampen your knife if it's hard to cut) to finish.
4. ※ Top with anko if you'd like.
