Chilled Dan Dan Noodles with Black Sesame Seeds

You will need only one bowl for this recipe! Just mix everything and it is very easy. I made chilled dan dan noodle dish with hiyamugi noodles or somen noodles. You don't need to cook on heat for a long time, so it'll ease your meal prep on summer days.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Hiyamugi noodles or somen noodles
2 portions
4 leaves
Daikon radish sprouts
1/2 packet
5 slices
Dan dan-style sesame soup
200 ml
Chicken soup stock powder
1/2 tablespoon
2 tablespoons
1/3 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
Ground black sesame seeds
3 tablespoons
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon


1. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt (not listed) over the okra on the chopping board. Rub against the palms of your hands against the board. Wash and slice into 5 mm lengths.
2. Tear the lettuce into bite sizes. Julienne the cucumber and ham. Cut the radish sprouts into 4cm lengths and soak in cold water.
3. Put the soup ingredients apart from the water and lemon juice in a bowl and mix well. Add the water and lemon juice little by little and mix well. Chill the soup in the fridge.
4. Cook the noodles and rinse in cold water. Add the noodles into 3 and mix well.
5. Arrange the noodles and vegetables on a serving dish. Pour over the soup.
6. Mix the noodles with vegetables well and enjoy!
