Teriyaki Tofu Slices

It's rich-tasting but relatively healthy since I used tofu. You can also use atsuage (thick deep fried tofu).

Ingredients: 2 servings

Firm tofu
1 block
as needed
Vegetable oil
as needed
Teriyaki sauce (Recipe ID: 1415913)
1 tablespoon
○Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon


1. Mix all the ○ ingredients and make the sauce.
2. Drain the tofu, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Coat with katakuriko.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, and fry the tofu.
4. When all sides are fried, swirl in the Step 1 sauce, and simmer.
5. When the sauce starts to boil, turn off the heat. Coat the tofu with the sauce, and you're all done.
