Strained Yogurt Banana and No-bake Cheese Mousse

I made banana-flavored no-bake cheese-like mousse using strained yogurt. If you have ripened bananas, give this a try.

Ingredients: 7 cups, like shown in the photo

Strained yogurt
200 g
Sugar
80 g
Heavy cream
100 g
Banana (fully ripen)
1
Gelatin
4 g
water
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Strain the yogurt. Do so until 400 g becomes about 200 g. I referred to Recipe ID: 760439.
2. Whip the heavy cream until it becomes as thick as shown in the photo, and chill in the fridge.
3. Combine the bananas and sugar into a bowl, and mash. Rehydrate the gelatin in water.
4. Microwave the gelatin for about 15 seconds to dissolve, combine it with the banana, and stir.
5. Add strained yogurt and whisk well with an egg beater.
6. Finally, add whipped heavy cream, lightly whip with an egg beater, and stir with a rubber spatula.
7. Pour into containers, and chill in the fridge until has solidified.
8. Done I garnished with banana slices coated in lemon juice.
