Grated Carrot Cake With Honey

This is a delicious cake with the mild flavors of grated carrots and honey. It bakes enough to serve 4 to 6 people. Since it's so easy to make, please try it when having guests for tea.

Ingredients: 1 15 cm cake pan

Carrot, grated
70 g
70 g
1 tablespoon
Melted butter
50 g
White flour
120 g
Baking powder
1 teaspoon


1. Peel and grate the carrot. Melt the butter in a microwave.
2. Combine the egg and sugar in a bowl and blend with a hand mixer. When it becomes white and thick, mix in the honey, butter, and cinnamon to taste.
3. Fold in the flour and baking powder with a rubber spatula.
4. Pour the batter into the cake mold lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 minutes at 170°C. Cover with a sheet of aluminum foil, then bake for 10 more minutes.
5. Pierce with a skewer to test if it's finished baking.
6. The result is a rich and fluffy cake. It's delicious served right out of the oven, too.
