Isis' Pasta Aglio, Olio E Peperoncino

You can make this easily and quickly!

Ingredients: 3 servings

400 to 500 g
200 g
3 to 4 cloves
Red chili pepper
Extra virgin olive oil
5 tablespoons
Salt and pepper
To taste


1. Divide the broccoli into florets. Divide each floret into 4 pieces. The stems are not used, so freeze and use for something else.
2. Slice the garlic, and de-seed the red chili pepper. Cut the bacon into 5 mm pieces.
3. Saute the garlic and chili pepper over low-medium heat in oil until fragrant.
4. Boil the pasta in the meantime.
5. When the pan is fragrant, add the bacon, turn the heat up to high and saute well. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Just before the pasta is done, add the broccoli. Drain.
7. Return the pasta to the pot it was boiled in, add the contents of the frying pan, mix, and it's done!!! Sprinkle with grated cheese to taste and enjoy!

Story Behind this Recipe

This is the second dish I made for my husband before we were married. He repeatedly told me how much he liked this, so I would make this quite often. I remembered it again recently so I tried making it again - and here it is!
