Macrobiotic Diet - Spring Onion Tofu Hamburger Patties

This is a delicious hamburger patty with very tasty spring onions.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Tofu
150 g
Onion
200 g (approximately 1)
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
White sesame paste
1/2 teaspoon
Soy milk
as needed
Curry powder
1/8 teaspoon
Soy sauce
to taste
Panko
1/2 cup
Olive oil
to taste
Ketchup, Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
1 tablespoon each
Tofu mayonnaise
to taste

Steps

1. Drain excess water from the tofu.
2. Finely mince the onion and sauté with olive oil.
3. Add salt, soy sauce and white sesame paste to the onion. Turn off the heat when it's mixed.
4. Put the tofu in a bowl and mash with a fork.
5. Add the onion, panko and curry powder to the tofu. Then add an appropriate amount of soy milk and mix together. Form into 4 balls.
6. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, and fry the tofu hamburgers until both sides have browned.
7. Mix Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce with ketchup and pour it over the hamburgers.
