Instant Cabbage and Shio-Konbu Tsukemono Pickles

Soooo easy! This is a great, healthy 'one more item' snack to nibble on after enjoying some sake! So good!

Ingredients: 1 to 2 servings

Cabbage
2 leaves
Shio-kombu
20 to 25 g
* Salt (a pinch)
1/4 scant teaspoon
* Ponzu
1 teaspoon
* Shichimi spice
To taste

Steps

1. Rip up the cabbage leaves with your hands.
2. Sprinkle the cabbage with salt, and make the shio-konbu ready!
3. Put the cabbage and shio-konbu in a plastic or Ziploc bag.
4. Massage lightly over the bag (optional...). Put the bag in the refrigerator, rest for 5 to 10 minutes and it's done!!
5. Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with ponzu sauce and shichimi spice, and enjoy!
